DETAILS, SCHEDULE, SYLLABUS
All Classes held virtually, over Zoom
- Six 90 Minute Sessions over eight weeks (see below for schedule).
- NOTE. The final session on November 19th is 2 hours.
- Participants meet for two 60-minute sessions between classes (see below).
- Credentialing Credits: 12 hours (approved by CHES/MCHES, CDR, HR, NBHWC, CEAP - Employee Assistance, and more...).

COSTS
$795
- All classes will be recorded, and Dr. Bennett will be available for office hours throughout the course.
- Class size is limited to create active engagement and interaction between students.
MATERIALS
All participants receive copies of two books, session slide decks, client worksheets, and access to all session recordings.
This certificate training is helpful for professionals in coaching, wellness, human resources, or other health-related professions who want to acquire the skills and tools to assist individuals and organizations in enhancing their resilience and capacity to thrive.
Research with course participants has shown significant pre-to-post increases in several coaching competencies. This includes being more present for clients, developing action plans for thriving, and knowing how to work with one’s resilience story in the coaching context.
Credit: With completion, receive 12 Continuing Professional Development hours for CHES/MCHES, CDR, HR, EAP, and More! Credit is made available through our partnership with Real Balance Global Wellness.
Objectives
(as a result of this training, participants will be able to…)
- Identify different levels of resilient functioning (from adapting to thriving) and mind-body (neurological) functions that support resilience
- Recognize how resilience operates across different organizational levels (individual, team, and organizational)
- Cite research to support the above distinctions
- Implement an essential cognitive-behavioral practice for working through stress and applying a positive perspective
- Identify and use different tools to support individuals on their path toward resilience

SESSION 1: INTRODUCTION TO RESILIENCE

SESSION 3: APPLYING MASTERY COACHING TO RESILIENCE WITH MICHAEL ARLOSKI, ENGAGING OTHERS, AND PRACTICE RESILIENCE

- Goal is to formulate a final “follow-up” intention for one’s own resilience-to-thriving journey after the course
SESSION 4: THE PERSONAL JOURNEY OF PRESENCE
- Complete Review of Coaching Practices from Session 3
- In-class Practice Session
- In-class Practice Session Sharing Key Tools and Insights (2-minute talk)

- Goal is to find a greater embodiment of tools with one's personal journey of Presence
SESSION 5: APPLYING BRAIN SCIENCE: DEEP DIVE INTO THE NINE 'Fs' of FLOURISHING
- Complete Review of Coaching Practices from Session 4
- Review the Nine Fs: Fight, Flight, Freeze, Forage, Fun, Friend, Figure Out, Fascinate, and Flourish
- Correspondence with Brain Function

FINAL ASSIGNMENT
